Expansion and renovation without stopping or reducing production -- a sewage treatment plant in Gulin County, Luzhou, Sichuan


  Application background:  

The amount of water accepted by the sewage plant increases year by year (from 20,000 m³/d to 26,000 m³/d). Due to limited treatment capacity, redundant sewage overflow is caused.


  Solution:  

As the concentration of pollutants in the sewage plant is lower than the design value, the biochemical system has load redundancy and has room for lifting capacity. The lifting capacity of the sedimentation tank is limited due to the influence of sludge settling speed. In order to solve the problem of high surface load of secondary sedimentation tank during the lifting process, NFSSS nano-flocculant was added in appropriate amount to realize rapid separation of mud and water, so as to improve the load of secondary sedimentation tank. Combined with load redundancy in biochemical stage, in-situ lifting of sewage plant was realized.


  Effect display:  

When NFSSS nano-flocculant is added, the influent water volume increases from the designed value of 20,000 m³/d to 25,000-29,000 m³/d, and the capacity of lifting reaches 30%-60%, realizing in-situ energy expansion. At the same time, the whole water plant runs stably and the effluent water quality continues to meet the standard.
