Solving overflow pollution of sewage plant in flood season -- a sewage treatment plant in Jiangyang District, Luzhou, Sichuan Province

   Application background：  

The sewage treatment plant is designed to treat 50,000m ³/d, and the water volume exceeds 80,000m ³/d during the rainy season, resulting in overflow pollution.

    Solution idea:    

The original wastewater treatment process remains unchanged, and after the amount of water increases in the rainy season, an appropriate amount of NFSSS nano-flocculant is added to the inlet end of the secondary sedimentation tank to realize the rapid separation of mud and water in the secondary sedimentation tank and ensure the clarification of the effluent. At the same time, the sludge is intercepted to the biochemical system to ensure the treatment effect of the biochemical system and achieve the discharge standard in the rainy season.

    Effect display:    

Through the above solution, the maximum water volume in the rainy season is up to 84,000 m³/d, and the treatment capacity is increased by 1.68 times. The effluent from the secondary sedimentation tank was clarified, and the effluent continued to meet the standard.
